3.2.1 IMPROPER NEUTRALIZATION OF SPECIAL ELEMENTS USED IN A COMMAND (‘COMMAND INJECTION’) CWE-77
Cradlepoint IBR600 NCOS versions prior to 6.5.0.160bc2e are vulnerable to shell escape which enables local attackers with non-superuser credentials to gain full, unrestrictive shell access which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2022-3086 has been assigned to this vulnerability. A CVSS v3 base score of 7.1 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N).

Cradlepoint recommends users to update to at least version:
- NCOS v7.22.70
