3.2.1    IMPROPER NEUTRALIZATION OF INPUT DURING WEB PAGE GENERATION (‘CROSS-SITE SCRIPTING’) CWE-79

An authenticated user clicking on a malicious link may allow an attacker to execute commands on behalf of the affected user.

CVE-2019-18249 has been assigned to this vulnerability. A CVSS v3 base score of 8.2 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:L).

4. MITIGATIONS

Reliable Controls has released MACH-ProWebCom/Sys firmware revision 8.26.4 and software revision 2.15 to resolve the vulnerability. The updated software can be obtained at the following link: MACH-ProWebCom/Sys firmware revision 8.26.4 (login required).

CISA recommends users take the following measures to protect themselves from social engineering attacks:
